Raipur: Election Commission has announced the dates of Lok Sabha elections. General elections will be conducted in seven phases, while the results will be announced on June 4. The first phase of voting will be held on April 19, second phase on April 26, third phase on May 7, fourth phase on May 13, fifth phase on May 20, sixth phase on May 25 and seventh phase on June 1.

When will the votes be cast?
First phase: 19 April (Bastar)
Second phase: April 26 (Kanker, Mahasamund and Rajnandgaon)

Third phase: 7 May (Raipur, Surguja Raigarh, Janjgir Champa, Korba, Bilaspur and Durg)

Voting will be held in the first phase on April 19. In this, voting will be held on 102 seats in 21 states.
Voting will be held in the second phase on 26th April. Voting will take place on 89 seats in 13 states.
Voting will be held in the third phase on 7th May. Voting will take place on 94 seats in 12 states.
Voting will be held in the fourth phase on May 13. Voting will take place on 96 seats in 10 states.

Voting will be held in the fifth phase on May 20. Voting will take place on 49 seats in 8 states.
Voting will be held in the sixth phase on 25th May. Voting will take place on 57 seats in 7 states.
