Liquor worth Rs 35 lakh seized from canter in Greater Noida, search for absconding driver intensifies

Greater Noida : Smugglers are also increasing their work regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. At the same time, the promptness of the police is also clearly visible. With the joint efforts of Kasna police and excise team, illegal liquor kept in a canter was recovered on Friday night.

Its price is said to be around Rs 35 lakh. The driver fled leaving the canter, a search is on.

According to the information received from the police, a canter filled with illegal liquor was seized in a joint action of Kasna police station and Excise Department. It contained 653 boxes of illicit liquor. The canter was seized from Sirsa roundabout. A case has been registered in this regard at Kasna police station and investigation is underway.
