Liquor-laden truck overturns in Paradip, 1 dead and 1 injured
Paradip: One person died after a liquor-laden truck overturned near a farm house on the Paradip-Kujang road in Kujang police station limits on Monday. A Hyva truck hit the liquor-laden truck which then overturned.
In a shocking incident, a Hyva truck hit a liquor-laden truck. In the accident, one person died after getting trapped under the vehicle. The driver of the liquor truck is injured while the Hyva truck driver fled the scene.
Police reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter. The liquor-laden truck was headed towards Paradip but the ill-fated incident happened near Kujang bazaar.
The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained. Police has rescued the body trapped under the vehicle. The driver was rushed to the local hospital.
