Liquor given to accused in court, video goes viral on social media

Raipur. Vikas Aggarwal, the accused who opened fire in a club in Raipur, is being given VIP treatment. Liquor has been served to the accused in the court, a sting video of it has also surfaced on social media. The police personnel opened his handcuffs during his appearance in the court. He was seen talking to relatives and friends without handcuffs. All this happened in the presence and knowledge of the police. The loved ones of accused Vikas also arranged lunch for him. When the bag in which lunch was brought was being thrown out, two empty bottles of whiskey were also seen in it. People present with Vikas in the court premises were also seen joking with the policemen. After this, the policeman took something from Vikas’s companion and kept it in the upper pocket of his uniform. The whole day the procession continued in the Vikas Court premises. This entire matter was of Telibandha police station area.

Telibandha’s patrolling team received information during patrolling on February 10 that there was a dispute between Vikas Aggarwal of Gudhiyari and Rohit Tomar of Bhatagaon in the parking ground of Hyper Club. An argument started between the two regarding an old love affair with a girl. During this, Rohit Tomar, in anger, vandalized Vikas’s car along with one of his associates. He also pushed Vikas. After the incident, Vikas took out his licensed pistol and fired towards Rohit. Rohit saved his life by sitting on the ground.

However, no one was injured in the incident. Vikas has accused Rohit of attacking him with a cricket bat kept in his car. Rohit was also accompanied by his friend Sarang Mandhan. Apart from this, he was hit on the chest with a beer bottle. The bottle hit his elbow and blood started flowing. Vikas has said that he fired in the air in self-defence. At the same time, Rohit alleges that Vikas had fired on his head which would have resulted in his death. But he sat down so that the bullet did not hit him. His life was saved. Telibandha police had registered a case against both the accused under attempt to murder.
