Liquor coach arrested near petrol pump in Gudhiyari

Raipur. Liquor Kochiya has been arrested near the petrol pump in Gudhiyari. Police received information from an informer that a person was keeping liquor with him for illegal sale near Khalbada Miraj Petrol Pump under Gudhiyari police station area. On the information given by the informer, police station in-charge Gudhiyari, under the guidance of senior officers, was instructed to verify the information and take action, and a raid was conducted at the place mentioned by the informer.

Accused Hameed Khan, father Majeed Khan, age 56 years, Sakin Shukrawi Bazaar, Kundapara police station, Gudhiyari Raipur, was found to contain 31 paua country liquor in a white colored cloth bag, on which 31 paua country liquor worth Rs. 2480/- was found in the possession of accused Hameed Khan. Sale amount of Rs. 240/- was seized and crime no. registered against the accused in police station Gudhiyari. 336/2024 The offense of Section 34(2) Excise Act was registered and action was taken.
