Lightning wreaks havoc in Korba, 2 people die

Korba. Two people died due to lightning, while three people were seriously injured. The incident took place in Kosgai under Bango police station area. The major incident occurred due to sudden storm and lightning.

Those who lost their lives due to lightning include 27-year-old Kumar and 35-year-old Nand Lal Yadav. The 112 team, which reached the spot after getting information about the incident, admitted the injured to the District Medical College.

The family had gone to Kosgai for a social program from Songuda village of Balko police station area. During the Bakra Bhaat program, the family members were going under the tree when the storm suddenly started. During this, the members got struck by lightning. The concerned police station has been informed about the incident.
