Light rain with strong winds expected in Tamil Nadu till July 12

According to the Meteorological Department, the influence of a low-pressure area formed at sea level may increase rainfall activity in the state.

A press release issued by the Meteorological Department stated that a low-pressure area is active at sea level from South Gujarat to North Kerala. Due to this weather system, rainfall is expected in the western highland districts of Tamil Nadu.
