Laborer who went to watch cricket match gets hit by bat in chest, dies

Farrukhabad. A laborer died on Thursday after a bat broke and hit him in the chest while watching a cricket match in Amritpur police station area. The laborer was a resident of Madhya Pradesh. He was living in village Tajpur for the last 15 days and was working on making drains on the roadside.

Mukesh (26), son of Gopi, resident of Anatora village, Baragaon police station, Tikamgarh district of Madhya Pradesh, used to work in making drains on Amritpur area road along with his friends. According to his companions Ajmat and Ram Prakash, he was living in village Tajpur and working on the road for the last 15 days. Today work was closed due to cold. Due to which Mukesh started watching cricket matches being held in Tajpur village. During this, the bat broke and hit him in the chest, due to which he became unconscious.

In critical condition, half a dozen people including his friends Ajmat, Ram Prakash brought him to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. Where the doctors declared him dead. Ram Prakash says that the bat is deceiving the player in front. For this reason they do not want to report. At present the information has been sent to Mukesh’s home.

Ram Prakash told that Mukesh is married. His wife Sunita has been informed. At present Mukesh’s body has been kept in the mortuary. The hospital administration has informed the Kadri police.
