KSrelief Provides Relief to Thousands in Hadramaut Through Prosthetic and Rehabilitation Services

Riyadh: Throughout the past year, the Saudi aid agency KSrelief continued its efforts to assist the people of Yemen through the sixth phase of its Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Project in the Hadhramaut Governorate.

This project provides free medical and humanitarian services to individuals who have lost their limbs; these services include the fitting of prosthetic limbs, rehabilitation, and the training of local medical staff.

According to a report by the Saudi Press Agency, KSrelief delivered 22,705 services during 2025, benefiting 7,025 individuals.

Furthermore, KSrelief’s mobile clinics recently treated 118 patients across several locations in the Hajjah Governorate within a single week. These facilities addressed cases related to epidemiology, emergency services, internal medicine, and reproductive health issues.

In the Al-Mahrah Governorate, a dialysis center supported by KSrelief also continued its operations, treating 138 patients over the course of one month. Of these, 52 patients underwent a total of 451 dialysis sessions, while 86 patients received examinations and medical tests at the nephrology clinic.

These initiatives form part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian projects aimed at strengthening Yemen’s healthcare sector and alleviating the suffering of its people.
