Kovid infected elderly dies in Jharkhand, five active cases in the state

Ranchi, (IANS) | Corona is spreading once again. At present there are five active cases of Covid in Jharkhand. A person suffering from corona infection has also died. He was undergoing treatment at the Tata Memorial Hospital in Jamshedpur. His age is said to be 86 years. He was a resident of Jamshedpur and was suffering from many diseases. It is not clear whether he died due to Covid or some other disease.

In Jharkhand’s Deoghar, a student appearing for Jharkhand Board’s matriculation examination fell ill at the examination centre. In the investigation, he was found to be corona infected. After this he has been kept on quarantine. For the safety of the rest of the students, instructions have been given to ensure that the Kovid guidelines are followed at the examination center.

Meanwhile, the health department has been alerted after receiving active cases of Covid. All medical college hospitals and district hospitals in the state have been asked to keep Covid special wards ready. Doctors have appealed to the people to follow precautionary masks and Covid protocols in public places.

Let us inform that a total of 5333 people died in the first and second wave of Corona in Jharkhand.
