Korba: Floods affect life
Water is flowing 4 feet above the crack in the drain on the road from Ravishankar Nagar to Dadar. Flood situation has arisen in Tiwari Colony built in the lower part of the drain. People have spent the night in panic due to water logging.
chhattisgarh news Last night, due to heavy rain, big colony areas like Doctor Rajendra Prasad Nagar, Pandit Ravishankar Shukla Nagar, Shivaji Nagar were filled with water, on the other hand, flood situation has arisen in Dadar area of the city. Amidst the heavy rain at night, rainwater entered people’s houses and the whole area turned into an island, people spent the night on the roof of their houses, and are imprisoned in their homes.
People told that due to the lack of proper drainage system, water logging is being created in the entire city, people are angry with the Municipal Corporation and public representatives. chhattisgarh
