Knife attack, 2 boys arrested

Dhamtari. Kotwali police has immediately arrested two accused of knife attack. Sanbir Pal father Rambabu Pal age 27 years resident of Ramnagar Colony Purdil Nagar Police Station Sikandar Raun District Hathras Uttar Pradesh was looking after the exhibition he had set up at Lok Prayag Mahotsav Sale on 29.01.25 at around 6:00 pm. He was near the kitchen wear stall when two boys who were calling each other Dev Yadav and Dharmu Yadav were stealing the items kept in the kitchen wear stall and putting them in their pockets. When he stopped them from stealing, they threw the stolen items back in the chicken wear stall and both of them together started abusing the applicant’s mother and sister and threatened to kill him and attacked him with big knives kept with them. The applicant suffered injuries near his left little finger and left thigh and bleeding. A crime was immediately registered on the applicant’s report.

During investigation, on the basis of inspection of incident spot and statement of witnesses, the accused were found and upon strict interrogation, they confessed to the crime and produced the sharp knife used in the incident, which was seized in front of witnesses. A case number 27/25 under sections 307,296,115(2), 351 (3).3. (5), BNS and section 25,27 of Arms Act was registered against the accused in Police Station City Kotwali Dhamtari, and the accused Dev Yadav father Baldev Yadav and Khalendra alias Dharmendra Yadav father Gopi Yadav were duly arrested and sent on judicial remand.
