Kisan Sabha roared against the central government

Kullu. At District Headquarters Kullu, Kisan Sabha District Committee Kullu took out a bike rally from Ramshila to Sarwari Bus Stand via Dhalpur College Gate on the call of United Kisan Morcha. State General Secretary of Himachal Kisan Sabha, Hotam Sounkhala said that on Friday, the United Kisan Morcha had given a call to the entire country that farmers will conduct tractor march and other vehicle marches across the country.

This march will be done against the anti-farmer policies of the Modi government and to save the Constitution and save the country, when the United Kisan Morcha had started a 381-day movement from 26 November 2020 and got three anti-farmer agricultural laws withdrawn.

But while suspending the movement, the Modi government had made an agreement with the farmers to fulfill other demands. In which the minimum support price of crops was considered to be brought within the ambit of the law, compensation to 745 farmers martyred in the movement, withdrawal of cases against people during the movement, loan waiver of farmers etc.

But not a single demand of the farmers was fulfilled. The dictatorship of Modi government is working to bypass the Constitution of the country. He said that Modi had guaranteed the farmers that the minimum support price would be decided on the basis of the Swaminathan Commission.

There was a guarantee of waiving off farmers’ loans, a guarantee of providing employment of two crore rupees every year, a guarantee of reducing inflation, but not a single guarantee has been fulfilled in 10 years. United Kisan Morcha has appealed that the movement against anti-farmer policies will be intensified.

District President of Kisan Sabha Govind Bhandari, District General Secretary Narayan Chauhan, Vice President Dev Raj Negi, District General Secretary of CITU Rajesh Thakur, Bhup Singh Bhandari, Chaman Thakur etc. participated in the rally.
