Kisan Rath left in Mahasamund district

Mahasamund. “Vikasit Krishi Sankalp Yatra” was inaugurated today by MLA Yogeshwar Raju Sinha from the Collectorate premises. During this, he flagged off two Kisan Raths at 10:30 am. Collector Vinay Kumar Langeh, District Panchayat CEO S Alok, SDM Harishankar Paikra, Agriculture Deputy Director F R Kashyap were present on this occasion. This Rath will go to the designated camps and spread awareness. 3 Raths will visit the district every day. In this Rath, visual and audio material will be used by the Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Horticulture Department.

In the Vikasit Krishi Sankalp Yatra, emphasis will be laid on promoting the cultivation of millets and promoting crop cycle change, natural organic farming, improved seeds, advanced agricultural machinery, balanced fertilizers, water conservation, value addition, animal husbandry, fisheries, horticultural crops.

As per the instructions of Collector Vinay Langeh, for the Vikasit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan in the district, programs will be organized in two shifts in different development blocks by 3 teams every day from 29 May to 12 June. The team will include agricultural scientists along with agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, fisheries department, Krishi Sakhi, Krishak Mitra, Pashu Sakhi, progressive farmers, FPO members and Lakhpati Didi. The program will be organized in the first shift from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm and in the second shift from 02:00 pm to 05:00 pm. Deputy Director Agriculture F.R. Kashyap said that it will start on Thursday, May 29 from Cooperative Society Jhalkhamharia and Khatti under Mahasamund development block. For its successful operation, Uike Senior Agriculture Development Officer has been appointed as the nodal officer. Farmers from 7-7 gram panchayats will participate in both the shifts. Similarly, under Pithora development block, the program will be organized in Cooperative Society Kishanpur in the first shift and in Tanka in the second shift.

In which 9 and 7 gram panchayats will be involved respectively. Rohit Kumar Bariha Senior Agriculture Development Officer will be the nodal officer for the operation of the campaign. Similarly, under Saraipali development block, the program will be organized in the first shift in cluster Gram Panchayat Gerra Middle School and in the second shift in Chhibarra Panchayat Bhawan. In which 2 and 4 Gram Panchayats will participate respectively. For this, Mr. B.L. Mirdha, Senior Agriculture Development Officer has been made the nodal officer.
