Kisan fair in Raipur, people are getting information about modern farming

Raipur. A farmer’s fair is being organized at Indira Gandhi Agricultural University in the capital Raipur from Friday. An exhibition for better and modern farming has also been organized here. More than 100 companies from India and abroad have exhibited in the fair. Farmers from across the state are visiting the fair every day to get information related to agriculture. This fair will continue till 26th February i.e. Tuesday.

University Vice Chancellor Dr. Girish Chandel inaugurated the four-day farmers fair and agricultural exhibition organized in the Agricultural College Raipur campus on Friday. This fair is being organized under the technical guidance of Indira Gandhi Agricultural University with the help of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare and Biotechnology Department of Chhattisgarh Government.

In the Kisan Mela, more than 100 companies from India and abroad have set up stalls to display agricultural machinery, equipment, materials and technology based on new research technologies and innovations related to agriculture that are useful for agriculture and farmers, where these can also be sold.
