Kirandul-Visakhapatnam passenger train canceled for 10 days

Raipur. Track doubling work is to be done between Darliput-Padua stations in the Waltair division of South East Central Railway. Due to which the operation of many passenger trains has been canceled from 2 to 11 April. Among these, the Kirandul-Visakhapatnam passenger train running from Visakhapatnam to Jagdalpur and Kirandul will also not come for 10 days.
However, the movement of goods trains will remain intact. Railway’s Senior Divisional Commercial Manager K. Sandeep said that along with the doubling work, pre-non interlocking and interlocking process is to be completed. It is necessary to get this work done to run more trains on the track.
Meanwhile, passengers may face some trouble. Train services running on Bastar route will also be affected.
