Killed a wild bear and ate its meat, one arrested

ranchi: Some people killed a wild bear and distributed its meat among themselves in the Karipahari reserved forest area of Teesri block of Ranchi Giridih district. The Forest Department team has arrested a person named Mangra Murmu in this case.

Apart from Mangra Murmu, FIR has been registered against Sanjhala Marandi and Gurushay Rai in this case. The Forest Department team has also recovered the skin of a wild bear from Karipahari village. It is alleged that people killed a wild bear and ate its meat.
