Kheda Syrup Case: Another accused arrested in Kheda Syrup Case

Kheda: Earlier, seven accused have been arrested in the Chakchari Sirpkadan case of the district. All of them are currently in jail. The police is investigating the matter. In which the police has arrested another accused.

Role of accused’s brother-in-law suspicious: According to the information received by the police, the role of Gopichand Samtani, brother-in-law of accused Yogesh Sindhi, was found suspicious. He also helped in destroying bank transactions as well as evidence. He has been taken into custody and is currently being interrogated. A total of seven accused are in jail: Till now, the police has already arrested a total of seven accused in the entire syrup case. The accused were taken on remand and interrogated thoroughly by the police. After completion of remand, now all the accused are in jail.

Seven died after drinking suspicious syrup: In Bilodara village of Nadiad, some people drank suspicious Ayurvedic syrup sold at the village grocery shop. Due to which he suffered from headache and foaming at the mouth. After which seven people died one after the other.
