Kerala: Woman dies after falling from KSRTC bus
Kerala: Woman dies tragically after falling from a moving KSRTC bus. The woman fell from a moving KSRTC bus at Elapara Erambadam in Idukki. Swarnnamma, a resident of Upputhra Chintalar, who was seriously injured in the accident, was immediately rushed to Peerumedu Taluk Hospital and later to Kottayam Medical College Hospital, but her life could not be saved.
The accident occurred at Chinnar 4th Mile on the Kattappana-Kuttikanam road at around 9 am on Tuesday. The woman who boarded the bus was holding the pillar near the door. As the bus was turning, the woman got hit by the bus and fell towards the door. Then the door opened and she fell on the road. Investigation revealed that there was some problem with the lock of the door of the bus. KSRTC officials said that they have been instructed to investigate the cause of the accident.
