Kerala: KSRTC to launch Google Pay app for bus tickets

Kerala: KSRTC has planned to travel by bus even if there is no money in hand. To attract more passengers towards KSRTC, KSRTC is preparing a system of buying tickets through debit card and UPI app in collaboration with Chalo app. After the contract process is completed, you will also be able to travel in KSRTC buses by buying tickets through digital transactions. KSRTC has decided to further this system which is currently in some buses of Thiruvananthapuram district.

Ticket payment can be made through Google Pay, Phone Pay, Paytm and apps of other major banks. It can be used for existing travel card and renewal. At the same time, it is being told that credit card cannot be used. The process of uploading information of more than 4000 buses on Chalo app is going on.
