Kerala: Concern over safety or injury status of minors in driving accidents

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A 14-year-old boy’s car fell into a ditch in Karamana. A class IX student from Kannammoola and his classmate were in the car. The accident took place around 2 am today. The boy locked the house and took the car with his classmate while his parents were sleeping. The police have registered a case against the mother, who is the RC owner of the car, in the accident.

The speeding vehicle lost control and overturned. According to police, the children had gone for a night drive. The police, who arrived on the scene, took the injured students to a private hospital.
