Kendriya Vidyalaya in Titilagarh, Patnagarh: Temporary campus inaugurated

Titilagarh: The inauguration of the temporary campuses of Kendriya Vidyalaya Titilagarh and Patnagarh and the ground-breaking ceremony for the permanent campuses were held. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan graced the event.

As per reports, about Rs. 30 crore has been sanctioned for each school, i.e. a total of Rs. 60 crore. With the support of the Railway Department, the opening of major institutions like Kendriya Vidyalaya in Titilagarh Railway Colony will enable students to get quality education.

Similarly, the permanent campus of Kendriya Vidyalaya to be built in Ulba of Patnagarh will play an important role in providing quality education to the students of the local area in the coming days and fulfilling their dreams of a bright future.

However, until these two schools are built, the temporary campus of Titilagarh KV will be operated at Block pada and the temporary campus of Patnapada KV will be operated in the ETEI premises.

The Union Minister has thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for gifting two Kendriya Vidyalayas in Titilagarh and Patnagarh to Balangir district. He said that apart from the approval of Rs 60 crore for these two Kendriya Vidyalayas, 21 schools in Balangir district are being developed as PM Shree Schools under the Modi government. For this, a grant of Rs 2 crore has been made for each school, a total of Rs 42 crore.

One of the oldest educational institutions in this district, Rajendra University, has been provided Rs 20 crore under the PM USHA scheme.

The government is committed to the physical, mental health and intellectual development of five lakh students of Balangir district, from new-borns to class 12th.

Odisha Deputy Chief Minister KV Singh Deo, State Health and Family Welfare Minister Mukesh Mahaling, Lok Sabha MP Sangita Kumari Singhdao, Rajya Sabha MP Niranjan Bishi, MLAs Naveen Kumar Jain and Laxman Bagh were present on this occasion.
