Kendrapara: Woman goes missing after being dragged away by crocodile

Kendrapara: A woman went missing after being dragged away by a crocodile in Kendrapara district of Odisha on Monday. Tragically, the crocodile dragged the woman away in the water when she was taking bath and her daughters were present on the spot who became helpless and could not do anything.
The incident took place in the Panianjor area under Aul police station limits in Kendrapara district.
The missing woman has been identified as Kajal Mohanty of Taaladiha village.
As per reports, the woman was taking bath in a water body when she was dragged away by a crocodile. Seeing their mother being dragged away by the crocodile, her daughters called the villagers for help after seeing the crocodile jumping on their mother but she could not be saved.
The villagers searched for the woman but no trace was found.
Later, the fire brigade was informed. The fire department personnel reached the spot after getting information and initiated a search mission to trace out the victim woman. However, by the time this report was written, she had not been traced out.
The search operation is underway.
