Karnataka: School headmaster suspended for sexually harassing students
Karnataka: The education department on Saturday suspended the director-in-charge of the service for sexually harassing children of a public school in a village in Nanjangud taluk. As a result of the children’s questions regarding sexual abuse on the part of the accused, the fathers demanded that action be taken against the cargo director. Block Education Officer (BEO) A.T. Shivalingaiah made a surprise inspection and inspected the school and gathered information. A case was registered under POCSO against the accused professor in Kavalande Police Commissionerate. The Education Department said in the suspension order that prima facie the allegations against the accused are proven. The investigation of the case is going on.
