Kapurthala: Two people were attacked and their mobile phones were snatched

Jalandhar: In the latest daylight robbery incidents in Kapurthala, two robbers carried out a robbery in broad daylight. One incident took place in a crowded market. Both the incidents show that robbers can go to any extent to scare the victims, even if it is for a mobile phone. The first robbery took place when armed bike-borne robbers surrounded a youth in the middle of a crowded market in Tagore Nagar, Kapurthala today. The robbers first assaulted the youth, then fled after snatching his phone. The incident was captured on CCTV cameras installed in the street.

The CCTV footage shows two bike-borne robbers. The victim informed the PCR team about the incident. Following this, PCR Sub-Inspector Charanjit Singh and ASI Manga Singh reached the spot and assured him that his complaint has been sent to the concerned police station. Meanwhile, in the second case, armed robbers surrounded another victim and snatched his phone after threatening him with weapons. The victim, Hrithik, who lives in Baba Deep Nagar, said that he was surrounded by the robbers while he was leaving his house as usual. Hrithik told the police that the robbers surrounded him and threatened him to hand over his mobile phone to them. When he refused, the armed robbers beat him up. After this, they snatched his phone and fled.
