Kapurthala: Three unknown miscreants opened fire on a trader, seriously injured
Kapurthala: There is information that three unknown miscreants riding a bike fired on a commission agent who was going home late at night from Dana Mandi of Nadala area. The commission agent got seriously injured in the firing and fell on the ground. After which the injured commission agent has been admitted to a private hospital in Jalandhar. Where his treatment is going on. DSP Bhulath Surinder Pal said that on the statement of the commission agent’s son, a case has been registered against an accused under various sections in Police Station Subhanpur and CCTV cameras installed near the spot are being scanned. In which some bike riders are seen as suspects. Police investigation is going on from many angles.
In a statement given to Police Station Subhanpur Police, commission agent’s son Jaswinderjit Singh resident of village Mirzapur said that he runs a commission agent shop and does farming with his father Lakhwinder Singh Malli. His father’s commission agent shop is in Damulia Dana Mandi Nadala. His father had gone to the market on Saturday as usual and was returning home to village Mirzapur on his bike at around 8:15 pm. When he reached a little behind Daljit Farm House on Nadala-Dhilwan Road, his father was lying injured on the roadside and bleeding. When he asked his father about this, he told that three unknown persons came on a bike behind his bike and as soon as they came near him, one person shot him. On the other hand, Subhanpur police station SHO Kanwarjit Singh said that the police is investigating the matter. The injured commission agent Lakhwinder Singh is undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Jalandhar. The police has registered an FIR and started investigating from every angle.
