Kanker police launched cyber public awareness fortnight

Information about cyber crimes was given by distributing cyber related posters and pamphlets.

For the prevention of cyber crime, under the security fortnight campaign from 05.10.2024 to 19.10.2024 in the month of October, today on 17.10.2024, the students and teachers of Government School Budhandand of Thana Partapur, Atmanand School of Chowki Halba, Thana Durgukondal Maha Vidyalaya and Deputy Sarpanch, Patel, Secretary, Gayta and other villagers of village Sadhumichgaon of Thana Kodekurse were informed about cyber crime.

Information about cyber crimes was given by distributing cyber related posters and pamphlets. Through pamphlets and posts, information about cyber crimes was given about cyber fraud, cheating, fraud through unknown WhatsApp calls, fraud through unknown links, ATM fraud clone, fraud on sharing bank account and personal information on receiving a call from an unknown mobile number, fraud by making friends with unknown people on Facebook, Instagram. People were requested to call Cyber ​​Helpline Number 1930 to register a complaint in case of cyber fraud and to use Cybercrime.gov.in.
