Maharashtra: Police have arrested accused Vishal Gawli in the case of kidnapping, sexual assault and murder of a minor girl from Chakki Naka area of ​​Kalyan. Vishal Gawli has previously committed crimes like molestation. But police investigation has revealed that he had obtained bail from the court twice before by showing a certificate of mental illness. After the murder, Vishal fled to Buldhana. On Thursday morning, a crime branch team brought him to Thane. He has been kept in the custody of Naupada police station. On Thursday morning, the Kalyan District and Sessions Court ordered Vishal to be kept in police custody along with his wife till January 2.

Meanwhile, the case has now taken another turn. Shiv Sena (Shinde) party leader Mahesh Gaikwad has made serious allegations in this case. He said, “The family of Kalyan rape-murder accused Vishal Gawli was working for the BJP. Accused Vishal Gawli was active in the BJP. Despite several cases being registered against him, former BJP MLAs used to arrange his bail. So he had no fear. If he had not got bail, the girl would not have been in this situation today. Will the accused be killed in an encounter or will he be hanged? There is no guarantee of this.”
