Kaithal: Husband arrested for murdering wife

Kaithal: The accused Lakha Ram, resident of Manas Road, Kaithal, was arrested by the team of SI Vijendra Singh of the city police station while investigating the case of murder of his wife by hitting her on the neck with a knife. Police spokesperson said that according to the complaint of Aman, a resident of Manas Road, Kaithal, on Saturday he had come home from his shop at around 2 o’clock in the afternoon to have dinner as usual. At that time there was a fight between his father Lakkha Ram and mother Rani. After convincing both of them, he went back to the shop at around 3.15. Then at around 4 pm the neighbor informed that parents were fighting at home. After this, he reached home on a bike with his friend and opened the gate of the house and saw that his father was holding a knife in his hand and was fighting with his mother Rani. As soon as he saw his father Lakha Singh attacked his mother Rani’s neck with a knife. By the time he took care of his mother, she had already died. After this his father fled from the spot. A case was registered in this regard in the city police station. One day police remand of the accused was obtained from the court on Wednesday.
