Justice has been done with Azam Khan: Shivpal Yadav

Kanpur (IANS) | National General Secretary of Samajwadi Party Shivpal Yadav has said that Azam Khan was implicated in a false case and now he has got justice after being acquitted. “I am sure that justice will be done in all false cases,” he said. Soon SP MLA from Kanpur Irfan Solanki and Ghazipur MP Afzal Ansari will also get justice.

SP leader Azam Khan was recently acquitted by the MP/MLA court (session trial) in the hate speech case.

On Wednesday, the sessions court rejected the order of punishment in the case of inflammatory speech.

Azam Khan was prosecuted in the hate speech case and was sentenced to three years. Azam Khan appealed against it in the sessions court after the lower court had sentenced him.

Shivpal said he was sure that justice would be done to all those sent to jail in false cases by the BJP.

When asked about the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Shivpal said, “SP will fight the 2024 elections by taking all the opposition parties together.”
