Jalandhar: Villager arrested on charges of raping a woman
Jalandhar: Police have arrested a villager for raping a married woman. The accused has been identified as Kulveer Singh of Fazalpur Village. The victim told the police in her complaint that on the night of October 28, the accused entered her house and raped her and threatened her with dire consequences if she told anyone.
Villager arrested for setting fire to field
Nakodar/Nurmahal: Mehatpur police have arrested a villager for burning paddy stubble. The suspect has been identified as Harjeet Singh of Lohgarh village. Police received a WhatsApp picture of burning paddy stubble in Adraman village and reached the spot and identified the suspect. The suspect was released on bail. Police arrested Inderjit Singh of Pabwan village for burning paddy stubble in Sidham Hari Singh village.
Woman arrested for stealing goods
Phagwara: Police have arrested a woman for stealing goods from a house. The accused Jaswinder Kaur is a resident of Uggi village. Tejinder Kaur of Gurdaspur village complained to the police that the accused and his son had stolen items from her daughter’s house. Her son is absconding.
