Jalandhar: Two more fugitives in police custody
Jalandhar: Jalandhar Rural Police has arrested two wanted criminals. The arrests were made under the supervision of SSP Harkamal Preet Singh Khakh. The accused have been identified as Baljinder Singh alias Baljinder resident of Bangiwal Khurd, Mehatpur and Sukha Singh resident of Pakhowal, Kapurthala. SSP Khakh said that these arrests are a significant achievement in the ongoing battle against criminals in the area. These operations showcased the unwavering commitment of the police to maintain law and order.
These operations were planned and executed by a special team comprising Jasroop Kaur Baath, SP, Investigation, Sukhpal Singh, DSP, Nakodar and Inspector Aman Saini, SHO, Nakodar. In the first operation, Baljinder Singh was targeted who was arrested from Noormahal Chowk, Nakodar on the basis of accurate intelligence inputs. In the second operation, Sukha Singh was arrested in connection with the theft of electric wires from an agricultural land on Kular Road. Baljinder Singh was wanted in a case registered on August 24, 2019 and Sukha Singh was arrested in connection with a case registered on June 5, this year.
