Jalandhar: Trials for junior women’s hockey team tomorrow

Jalandhar: Trials for the Punjab Junior Women’s Hockey Team will be held on September 5 at the Olympian Surjit Hockey Stadium from 8 am onwards. The selected team will participate in the 14th Hockey India Junior Women’s Hockey Championship to be organised by Hockey India from September 30 to October 10 in Guwahati, Assam. Hockey Punjab President Nitin Kohli and General Secretary Amrik Singh Powar said that players born after January 1, 2005 can participate in these trials. The players participating in the trials will have to bring their original Aadhar Card at the time of trials, as no player without original Aadhar Card will be allowed to participate. A coaching camp will be organised for the selected players.
