Jalandhar: Revenue Court Management System will speed up case disposal

Jalandhar: A special district-level training session on the Revenue Court Management System (RCMS) was organized on Monday under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Ashika Jain. Readers and lawyers associated with the Revenue Court participated in the training, which aimed to make the functioning of the Revenue Court more digital, transparent, and efficient. Addressing the participants, the Deputy Commissioner stated that all Revenue Court cases in the district will now be handled under the e-filing system. She explained that RCMS offers features such as online case filing, tracking hearing status, easy access to orders, and systematic record management. She added that this will significantly reduce the need for people to visit government offices.

Aashika Jain also sought feedback from officials on specific issues related to RCMS, including the status of e-filing, uploading pending and new Revenue Court cases to the RCMS portal, and progress in training staff and lawyers. He directed officials to ensure that all revenue court cases in the district are fully uploaded to the RCMS portal, ensuring that there are no technical or procedural gaps at any level. The Deputy Commissioner stated that the training of staff and lawyers is nearly complete, and refresher training sessions will be held in the future as needed. He expressed confidence that the effective implementation of RCMS will expedite the disposal of revenue court cases and strengthen transparency and accountability in administrative work. District Revenue Officer Amandeep Chawla, District System Manager Charan Kanwal, and other officials were also present on the occasion.
