Jalandhar: Minor rams jeep into parked truck, dies

Jalandhar: A 17-year-old youth died when his jeep collided with a parked truck on Hoshiarpur Road amid heavy fog. According to initial reports, the victim has been identified as Aman, a resident of Lakshapur village, who was headed towards Hoshiarpur when his jeep collided with a parked truck. The collision was so severe that the jeep was completely mangled, leaving no chance of the youth’s survival.

Emergency medical personnel at the Civil Hospital confirmed that Aman was declared dead on the spot. Doctors on emergency duty said the body was taken to the hospital mortuary for post-mortem. Local authorities are investigating the cause of the accident, including why the truck was parked on the road and whether adequate safety measures were taken.
