Jalandhar: 759 patients benefited from the free AYUSH camp

Jalandhar: With the aim of promoting traditional medicines and providing easy access to healthcare at the grassroots level, a free AYUSH Ayurvedic and Homeopathic Medical Camp was organized at Gurudwara Sahib Guru Ravidas in Palahi village. The camp was organized under the guidance of the Directorate of Ayurveda, Punjab, and the leadership of Dr. Kusum Gupta, District Ayurvedic and Unani Officer, Kapurthala. The camp was officially inaugurated by Dr. Kusum Gupta, who emphasized the importance of Ayurveda and Homeopathy in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and preventing diseases without any side effects. During the camp, Dr. Sunita Kumari informed the gathering that Ayurvedic and Homeopathic medicines are safe and generally free of side effects.
The camp examined and treated a wide range of ailments, including fever, cough, stomach ailments, joint pain, diabetes, blood pressure, gynecological problems, as well as diseases related to the nose, ears, and eyes. Patients were thoroughly examined, counseled, and provided free medications based on their medical needs. The camp received an overwhelming response, with a total of 759 patients availing themselves of medical services. Of these, 427 patients received treatment through the Ayurvedic system, while 332 patients benefited from homeopathic treatment, demonstrating the growing public trust in the AYUSH system.
