Jal Jagar Mahotsav: Collector Namrata Gandhi took stock of the preparations

Jal Jagar Mahotsav will be organized at Ravishankar Reservoir Gangrel Dam on 5th and 6th October. In view of this, Collector Ms. Namrata Gandhi today reviewed the preparations for the two-day nationwide Jal Jagar Mahotsav. Along with this, a meeting of the nodal officers of the program was held at Gangrel Rest House and necessary guidelines were given. On this occasion, CEO District Panchayat Roma Srivastava, Superintendent of Police Anjaneya Varshney, Additional Collector R Markam and other concerned officers were present. dhamtari

Parking arrangements have been made at four places for the program. The Collector inquired about the facilities, layout, shift wise duty of officers and employees. He directed to make separate entry and exit gates, control room in-charge, ensure to determine the location of different vehicles. Collector Ms. Gandhi asked to ensure other arrangements including route chart, route map, drinking water, mobile charging point, electricity, toilet arrangements. She directed to make separate photo passes for officers and employees. Also, keeping in mind environmental protection, dustbins were asked to be arranged at designated places. Guests will be welcomed in the program keeping in mind Indian culture. LED display boards will be installed at four places and the cultural program will start at 3 pm.

The collector has appointed nodal officers for all the programs. The collector asked for alternative arrangements for electricity and to increase the range of Jio and BSNL so that the network runs smoothly. The collector inspected the venue and directed the officials to ensure complete cleanliness, drinking water, toilets, electricity etc. at the venue. Also, he asked to mark a separate route for the arrival of special guests coming to the program and accommodation arrangements for their stay. He asked to deploy guards and medical units for security near the Jal Olympic program. Along with this, he inspected the Jugaad from Junk, International Conference program venue. The collector, while taking stock of the parking arrangements, directed the officials to make separate parking for VVIP, VIP and general people in the parking lot. Electricity, drinking water and health facilities should also be provided in these parking places.

The collector told to take the help of 50 Kotwars and 150 volunteers along with the police for security arrangements, arrangement of tap water for drinking water, patrolling. He gave instructions to give wider responsibility in view of a possible accident in the waterlogged area and to appoint divers at different places. He instructed the health staff to stay at different places during the marathon race. The devotees coming from outside will reach the temple via Bhatgaon route to have darshan of Angar Moti Mata. In view of this, he asked to ensure the arrangement of barricading. He gave instructions to ensure proper arrangements of spectator gallery and press gallery at the venue.
