Jaipur: Dr. Manisha Arora, Commissioner of Rajasthan Foundation, met the Ambassador of Finland Mr. Kimmo Lahdevirta in New Delhi on Tuesday and extended an invitation on behalf of the Government of Rajasthan to the Ambassadors’ Roundtable Conference as well as the Rising Rajasthan Summit 2024 to be held on October 1 at Hotel Taj Man Singh, New Delhi. The aim of this summit is to attract global investment to the state of Rajasthan and promote economic development.
Dr. Arora said that there are great opportunities for investment in Rajasthan. In the meeting with the Ambassador, he highlighted Rajasthan’s strong infrastructure and favorable investment environment and emphasized the possibility of cooperation between Rajasthan and Finland in areas such as technology, electronics and machinery.
Dr. Arora said that Ambassador Lahdevirta showed keen interest in exploring investment opportunities in Rajasthan. He acknowledged the rich cultural heritage and historical significance of the state and expressed his affection for the vibrant traditions of Rajasthan.
This meeting comes ahead of the “Rising Rajasthan Summit” to be held in December. Investors from across the world will be exposed to the investment opportunities in Rajasthan at this summit. The summit will include a series of panel discussions, B2B meetings and networking events to facilitate partnerships and collaborations between Indian and international businesses.
Dr Arora informed that to further strengthen Rajasthan’s engagement with international investors, Ms. Piyali Dasgupta, Programme Director at the Resident Commissioner’s Office at Bikaner House, New Delhi and Ms. Parthavi, OSD from RIICO, have also been actively involved in meetings and personal interactions with high officials of various embassies and are in constant touch with the embassies of the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan, South Korea, Australia, Italy, Brazil and others.
These efforts of Rajasthan Foundation will contribute to building strong relationships with interested investors and creating a positive perception of Rajasthan as an attractive investment destination.
