Not only this, flowers are also used for fragrance in gulal and colours. No kind of chemical is added in it, which can cause harm.

Group member Chitrarekha Diwan said that last year the women made 80 kg of herbal gulal during Holi. Due to which an income of 30 to 40 thousand rupees was generated. There was a lot of demand for it. He said that packets of herbal gulal worth Rs 10, Rs 20 and Rs 50 were made. He told that spinach, red vegetables, turmeric. Working on making herbal gulal from herbs, herbs and flowers. Apart from this, used flowers and leaves from the flower markets of temples are dried and ground in a processing unit to prepare gulal. Rose, marigold, ink flowers along with beetroot, turmeric, mango and green guava leaves are also processed. This time also about 60 kg of gulal has been prepared. Out of which half the quantity has been sold. Gulal is being made in many colors which include green, pink, yellow, saffron gulal.

By making herbal gulal, women are paving the way for self-reliance and self-reliance. The women members of the village say that since it is a herbal gulal, the demand for this gulal is coming from the district as well as the surrounding districts. At the same time, self-employment is also available to women sitting at home. This time the aim is to make more herbal gulal.
