Jabalpur: Chief Minister pays tribute on Rani Durgavati’s martyrdom day.

Madhya Pradesh: Chief Minister Mohan Yadav participated in a program held on Wednesday to mark the martyrdom day of the heroic Queen Durgavati. The event took place at her memorial site in Jabalpur, where the Chief Minister arrived to pay tribute to her.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav paid floral tributes at the memorial, honoring the heroine’s sacrifice and contributions. Reflecting on her life and struggles, he described her as one of the great heroines of Indian history.
During the event, the Chief Minister also viewed a special exhibition dedicated to Queen Durgavati. The exhibition showcased historical information regarding her life, martial prowess, and administrative contributions.
Several senior public representatives and ministers accompanied the Chief Minister at the event. Public Works Department (PWD) Minister Rakesh Singh and Minister Sampatiya Uike, along with other representatives, also paid floral tributes at the memorial site.
The atmosphere was imbued with a sense of patriotism and historical pride. A large number of local residents were present to commemorate Queen Durgavati’s sacrifice.
In his address, the Chief Minister stated that the courage and valor with which Queen Durgavati defended her kingdom and honor serve as a source of inspiration for future generations. He emphasized that it is society’s responsibility to keep the memory of such great personalities alive.
He further noted that the Madhya Pradesh government is continuously striving to honor and preserve historical heritage and the legacies of great figures. The lives of heroines like Queen Durgavati inspire the youth with patriotism and courage.
Administrative officials also participated in the event and ensured its smooth conduct. Stringent security arrangements were in place, and the program concluded peacefully.
The event in Jabalpur served as a significant occasion to commemorate Queen Durgavati’s sacrifice and to convey the story of her contributions to the new generation.
