It is our right to demand a share in the government: Congress MP Manickam Thakur

Tamil Nadu: MP Manickam Thakur said, “It is our (Congress) right to demand a share in the government; the public will decide on this.”
With the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections coming up soon, some senior Congress party leaders are pressing for a share in the government.
In particular, MP Manickam Thakur and All India Congress Party Data Analysis Committee Chairman Praveen Chakravarthy are directly questioning the DMK about this.
Regarding this, Minister Raja Kannappan said at an event in Madurai last Friday that we have no right to say no to the alliance. However, Chief Minister Stalin had clearly stated that he would have no role in the government.
In response, Manickam Thakur posted on the ‘X’ site on Saturday: “In the 2021 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, the DMK contested 173 seats and won 133. We are demanding only those seats where the DMK lost. Power sharing is necessary. A share in the government is our right. The public will decide on this,” Manickam Thakur said in it.
