IRS officer Manish Kumar Dabas appointed expenditure observer of Mahasamund district
Mahasamund. Manish Kumar Dabas (IRS 2014) has been appointed Expenditure Observer by the Election Commission of India for the four assembly constituencies of Mahasamund district, Saraipali, Basna, Khallari and Mahasamund assembly constituencies under Mahasamund Lok Sabha constituency. Apart from this, he can be contacted at the District Panchayat from 11 am to 1 pm. Dabas Liaisoning Officer Abdul Waheed Khan has been appointed Sub Divisional Officer Mahasamund (98266-30264).
Expenditure Observer Mr. Manish Dabas and Collector and District Election Officer Prabhat Malik inspected the district level media monitoring room established in the District Panchayat premises. Expenditure Observer Shri Dabas instructed during the inspection that daily monitoring of advertisements and paid news on print and electronic media should be done continuously and regular records should be maintained. He instructed all the employees to discharge their responsibilities seriously. Instructions were also given to monitor the social media accounts of the candidates. He also met the employees present in the media room. During this, Collector and District Election Officer Shri Prabhat Malik gave information about the activities of the centre.
Observer Shri Dabas also observed the maintained register while discussing with the employees working in the media centre, social media unit of media authentication and monitoring centre, print media unit, electronic media unit and media monitoring unit and also reviewed the maintained register and informed the concerned about news channels, social media etc. Media, Print Media, F.M. Instructions were also given for continuous monitoring and surveillance of political news, paid news and advertisements in radio. He said that on receiving advertisements and paid news, the expenditure should be calculated and made available to the in-charge election expenditure account every day.
