IPS Bhagyashree Navtake: CBI registered a case in connection with the investigation of the scam

Maharashtra: IPS Bhagyashree Navteke Bhaichand Hirachand Raisni Credit Society: Sunil Jhanwar and Kunal Shah, the suspected accused in the Bhaichand Hirachand Raisni (BHR) Credit Society case in Jalgaon, had lodged a complaint with the Director General of Police against Bhagyashree Navteke, the then Deputy Commissioner of Police of the Financial Crimes Branch of Pune Police. The investigation of this crime has been handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). After that the CBI has taken major action in this case. The CBI has registered a case against Navteke on charges of fraud and criminal conspiracy. Navteke was leading the team investigating the alleged fraud of Rs 1,200 crore.

He has been accused of not taking proper action. It is also alleged that he tried to save the accused in this. Navteke has been accused of registering the crime in a hurry and ignoring the existing procedure for some purpose. Crime Branch Deputy Commissioner of Police Nikhil Pingale has lodged a complaint at the Bundgarden Police Station. According to the complaint lodged by him, a case was registered against Deputy Commissioner of Police Navteke. After that the investigation of the case was handed over to the CBI. After the Chief Minister approved the proposal in this regard, the case registered at Bundgarden Police Station has been handed over to the CBI for investigation and now the CBI has started collecting evidence against Navteke. In this regard, crimes were registered in three police stations in Pune district in November 2020.

Accordingly, Sunil Jhanwar and Kunal Shah filed a complaint with the Director General of Police. This complaint application was investigated by senior officials of the Director General of Police office. Then on 19 February 2024, the investigation report was sent by the Director General of Police to the Home Department. After that, after the order of the Chief Minister’s Office, now the case has been handed over to the CBI. While working in Majalgaon of Beed district, female IPS officer Bhagyashree Navteke had to pay a heavy price for making a controversial statement about Dalit brothers. After that she was transferred to Aurangabad.
