IPMA welcomes growth-oriented Union Budget 2025-26

Chennai Chennai: The Indian Pump Manufacturers Association (IPMA) has termed the Union Budget 2025-26 as a progressive and visionary financial plan, which will greatly benefit the pump manufacturing sector. IPMA President K.V. Karthik emphasised that the government’s strong focus on agriculture, water infrastructure and indigenous industrial development presents substantial growth opportunities for Indian pump manufacturers. “An increase of Rs 2 lakh in Kisan Credit will directly lead to an increase in the demand for agricultural pumps, benefiting both farmers and the industry,” Karthik said.

“Further, the extension of Jal Jeevan Mission to 2028 will create sustained business opportunities, thereby promoting water availability across the country.” Further strengthening India’s industrial landscape, the government’s commitment to the nuclear power mission with an emphasis on indigenisation is set to open new avenues for Indian industries, including the pump manufacturing sector. “With these visionary initiatives, we expect increased investments, technological advancements and greater self-reliance in critical sectors,” Karthik added. IPMA is committed to supporting these national objectives by providing world-class pump solutions to meet India’s growing demands in the agriculture, water infrastructure and energy sectors.
