Intoxicating tablets were being sold near the community hall, three accused arrested

Raipur. Under the direction of senior officers, the team of police outpost Ramnagar, accused Mohd. Salman Shah, father Munavvar Shah, age 28 years, of illegally selling banned narcotic tablet Spasmo, near the community building under outpost Ramnagar area, house of Tulsi Das, near Paras Nagar Masjid, police station Ganj district. Raipur was arrested and a total of 240 pieces of banned narcotic tablet Spasmo worth Rs 2290 was seized from his possession and a crime under section 20/24 section 22(b) of Narcotic Act was registered against the accused in Gudhiyari police station and police remand of the accused was taken. During the investigation of the case, when the arrested accused was strictly interrogated regarding the banned narcotic tablet Spasmo, the accused was told to purchase it from a person named Ramavatar Gupta, the operator of a medical shop located at Chhoti Gorbhi Mahasaon in Reenwa (M.P.). On which the team members started locating Ramavatar Gupta, the operator of the medical shop of Reenwa (MP).

While the team members were locating the accused through technical analysis and other means, the presence of the accused was found to be in Chhoti Gorbhi Mahsaon of Rewa (MP), under the direction of senior officers, under the leadership of outpost in-charge Ramnagar Inspector Ravindra Kumar Yadav. A 04-member team of Crime and Cyber Unit and Outpost Ramnagar Police was sent to Chhoti Gorbhi Mahasaon of Reenwa (MP). While the team members reached Chhoti Gorbhi Mahasaon of Reenwa (MP), while locating the accused, they went to Ramavatar Gupta’s medical shop, caught Ramavatar and interrogated him strictly and found Spasmo, an illegally banned drug, from him without any document. Accused Mohd. Salman Shah and others were told to sell on the basis of demand.
Accused Ramavatar Gupta was arrested and illegal possession of banned drug tablet Spasmo was seized from his possession and action was taken against the accused. Similarly, today on 15.01.24, accused Rohit Mahanand, father Ramesh Mahanand, age 30 years, resident of Bhawani Chowk, near Kukurbeda police station Saraswati Nagar Raipur, was arrested in police station D.D. Nagar area and 250 tablets were taken from his possession and the accused in police station Saraswati Nagar area. Jasbir Singh, father Harbansh Singh, age 34 years, residence Kukurbeda police station Saraswati Nagar Raipur, has been arrested and 304 tablets have been seized from his possession and further action is being taken against both the accused.
