Interstate Shutter Lifting Gang Arrested in Nizamabad, CP Sai Chaitanya Shares Details

Police Commissioner P Sai Chaitanya has revealed that members of an inter-state gang involved in robbery at two gold shops in Nizamabad Commissionerate have been arrested. He revealed the details of the members of the robbery gang at a press conference held at the Command Control Hall of the Commissionerate on Monday.
Four gang members, Laxman Singh Bhavuri, Prem Singh Dharam Singh Kitchi, Sagar Singh and Mohammed Sheikh, from Umri in Nanded district of Maharashtra, stole bikes and reached Bodhan town in Nizamabad district after midnight on December 21. Later, they broke the shutters of two gold shops in Bodhan town and stole 35 tolas of gold jewellery and 14 kg of silver from them and fled from there.
The CP said that a team led by CI Venkata Narayana, under the leadership of Bodhan ACP Srinivas, has launched a search operation for the robbers based on the complaint of the victims regarding this robbery incident. While patrolling at Achampally on Bodhan Bypass on Sunday night, four people fled after seeing the police. The police chased them and arrested two accused, Laxman Singh and Prem Singh Daram Singh, who are members of the robbery gang.
Meanwhile, 14 tolas of gold and 6 kg of silver items were recovered from them. The CP revealed that a case has been registered against a total of six people, Naeem Nadeem Syed and Laxmikant Santosh Talk, who are from Nanded area of ​​Maharashtra, who were the ones who stole the property. Along with the two accused caught by the police, two others who bought the stolen property have been sent to remand. The Police Commissioner congratulated Bodhan ACP Srinivas, Bodhan Nagar CI Venkatanarayana, SI Manoj Kumar, ASI Baburao, staff Ravi, Mahesh, Saikumar and Ashok for their efforts in catching these robbery gangs.
