International Seminar on ‘We the people of Bharat’ kicks off at KISS University

Bhubaneswar: An international Seminar on ‘We the people of Bharat’ kicked off today at KISS University in Bhubaneswar of Odisha. The two day long 62nd All India Political Science Conference and International Seminar is being organised by KISS University in association with the Indian Political Science Association.
Over 3,000 political scientists from across the country gathered for the two-day event, which includes an international seminar on ‘We the People of India’.
Professor Manoj Dixit, President of the Indian Political Science Association and Vice Chancellor of Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner, emphasized the role of political scientists in making India a developed nation by 2047. He noted that Western countries often try to influence India’s development, but the country has resisted such interference and progressed on its own path. “This is a cause of concern for Western countries as India continues to resist their definition of a developed nation,” he added.
The conference saw participation from over 30 vice-chancellors, retired vice-chancellors, political scientists, and academics from various universities. Notable attendees included Professor Sharanjit Singh, Vice Chancellor of KIIT University, and Professor Sanjiv Kumar Sharma, General Secretary and Treasurer of the Indian Political Science Association and Professor Kashinath Jena, Vice-Chancellor of KISS University.
The event also honored individuals who have made significant contributions to political science and the Indian Political Science Association.
