Instructions regarding formation of school management and development committee

Raipur. Instructions have been issued for the formation of School Management and Development Committee in high schools and higher secondary schools of the state government. In this regard, today the School Education Department has told the Managing Director Samagra Shiksha from the Ministry Mahanadi Bhawan, Nava Raipur, Atal Nagar that as per the instructions of the government, the ministers in-charge of the district will nominate the chairperson of the School and Development Committee on the basis of the name approved by them. Formation proceedings should be ensured.

It may be noted that School Education Minister Brijmohan Aggarwal had instructed the School Education Secretary to ensure the action of forming a new School Management Committee and Development Committee under the School Education Department. In this regard, the state government, as per the order issued on January 18, 2024, separated the chairpersons and nominated members of the School Management and Development Committee in the government high schools and higher secondary schools of the state with immediate effect and made the principals posted in these schools temporarily the in-charge chairpersons. Was nominated. At present, the ministers in-charge of the districts have been nominated by the state government. Therefore, as per the instructions of the government, the process of formation of School and Development Committee should be ensured by nominating the chairperson from the ministers in-charge of the district on the basis of the name approved by them.
