Instagram friend had taken the girl and her friend away to Gujarat, CG Police recovered them safely
Raigarh. In the era of social media, it is very important to keep in mind the activities of minor children. Two minor girls of Chakradharnagar police station area had gone to Gujarat with him under the influence of their Instagram friend. Chakradharnagar police reached Gujarat in time and after four days of hard work and search, they found the first accused youth from whose custody both the girls were recovered safely. The tax has been brought to Raigarh. The accused has been arrested for the crime of kidnapping and sent to jail.
According to the information, on the night of January 6, 2024, the relatives of two minor girls living in the local colony had reached Chakradharnagar police station. The family told that both the girls are friends, on the morning of January 06, both of them had left the house after talking about the program in the school and did not come home till evening and night, the family told that when the girls’ teacher was inquired about, they told that both the girls were two. Haven’t come to school since the day. On the report of missing girls, police station in-charge Chakradhar Nagar Inspector Prashant Rao Aher registered crime numbers 17, 18/2024 under separate section 363 IPC and took the investigation into consideration.
When the matter seemed serious, Senior Superintendent of Police Sadanand Kumar was informed and guidance was taken. The SSP, after interrogating the friends of the minors and thoroughly investigating their activities in the last few days, took full sensitivity and directed to trace the missing girls as soon as possible with the help of cyber cell. In the course of investigation, the police station in-charge and his team interrogated the family members and friends of both the girls one by one, on which one of their friends told that one of the missing girls was good friends with Amar Verma of Uttar Pradesh on Instagram. Had come to Raigarh earlier. Chakradharnagar police considered Amar Verma as the first suspect and proceeded with the investigation and complete details of Amar Verma were extracted. Information was received about Amar Verma, a native of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh and currently working somewhere in Surat (Gujarat), immediately after obtaining permission from the Senior Superintendent of Police, the police station in-charge sent assistant sub-inspector of the police station Nand Kumar Sarathi, head constable Shyam Dev Sahu and A team of female constable Alisha Toppo was prepared and sent to Gujarat. The police team kept searching for suspect Amar Verma and minor girls in Surat (Gujarat) for four days. After four days of hard work, suspect Amar Verma was found searching for a rented house and was caught by the police team.
Amar Verma denied further information by saying that he had only casual friendship with the girls on Instagram. Amar Verma was interrogated by the police team through scientific methods in which he agreed to go to Raigarh on January 04 to pick up both the girls and told that he had befriended a girl from Raigarh on Instagram. Both of them started liking each other and came to Raigarh on 4th January. He bought the girl a new mobile and gave some money. She had also tempted her friend to come and visit Gujarat along with her, on which both of them came to Gujarat by train with Amar Verma on 6th January. Accused Ajay Amar Verma does not have a permanent residence anywhere in Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat, he used to live anywhere by doing labor work. He was looking for a house on rent to keep the girls when Chakradharnagar police caught him. Both the girls were safely rescued from the custody of the accused.
The female police officer interrogated the minor girls and conducted counselling. A girl who ran away from home told that Amar Verma had called her to Surat (Gujarat) with a marriage proposal. The other girl told that when Amar Verma had come to Raigarh, he had told her to visit Gujarat. Chakradharnagar police has arrested the accused Amar Verma, father Bade Lal Verma, age 23 years, resident of Patakheda, Sarsaul police station, Maharajganj district, Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh), in both the crimes of kidnapping and produced him in the court for judicial remand.
