On the initiative of the state’s Finance Minister and Raigarh MLA OP Choudhary, the Urban Administration Department has approved Rs 3.14 crore for the construction of roads in Raigarh city. Finance Minister OP Choudhary had written a letter to the public representatives and city residents of Raigarh and placed the demand before Urban Administration Minister Arun Saw, which has been approved.

On the instructions of Finance Minister Shri Choudhary, the focus is on the construction of asphalt roads in the city, so that people get beautiful and smooth roads for movement within the city. So that facilities can be developed soon in the city according to the needs of all sections.

4 tarred roads will be constructed with 3.14 crores

The roads for which approval has been given for construction will be tarred roads. This includes BT road from ward number 21 Circuit House to Housing Board at a cost of 1 crore 8 lakh 42 thousand, similarly Rs 83 lakh 51 thousand for BT road construction work from ward number 27 Atramuda to Mangal Bhawan, Rs 78 lakh 53 thousand for BT road construction work from ward number 32 Sarveshwari School to 25 MLD STP Plant and from Geeta Traders to Banjhinpali and Rs 44 lakh 12 thousand for BT road repairing work in ward number 17 from Handi Chowk via orphanage to Nilanchal Bhawan and via Ganesh temple to bus stand.
